INTES MICRO 7" f/10 ALTER M703 OTA

A scaled up version of the very popular INTES MICRO ALTER M 603. This 180mm aperature Maksutov has a fully baffled tube (7 internal knife-edge baffles) and high transmission multicoatings on all of the optical surfaces. Thus, this Maksutov has much brighter images and more resolving power than any other of the well known Maksutov Cassegrains in the 7-inch aperature range. With a total tube weight of only 14.1 pounds (7 kg), it is still an easily transportable telescope, requiring a smalller (and less costly) mount than its competitors.

The Standard model offering from INTES MICRO includes the OTA with Pyrex mirrors, a 8x50mm finder scope, piggy back camera mount, 1.25" Stardiagonal, 1.25" 30mm Kellner eyepiece, 1.25" 2.4x Barlow lens, full length tube rail & mounting plate, softcase, tubehandle, and a 1 year warranty from INTES MICRO.  A Deluxe model offering is also available with many of the same features as the standard model, but with Astrosital mirrors, 96% reflective coatings on the primary and secondary mirrors, new internal baffle design for less internal tube turbulence during cool-down, cooling fan system with membrane filters to trap dust and an air spaced cell around the miniscus corrector lens, guaranteed 1/8 wave p.t.v optical quality, and a 2" star diagonal.
